With our PKI 6440, we have designed a system having no match. Completely autarkic and mobile, you can control the entire wireless communication using this system. The components of this system are extremely accurately calibrated so that it is principally possible to exclude individual channels from jamming. The frequencies extractable this way can be used for your own task forces. In contrast to less complex jamming systems, this system does not try to suppress communication on a broad band with much power, but communication is prevented in a carefully targeted way on the desired bands or frequencies using an intelligent control. So, it was realised to completely control this unit via radio transmission. The completely autarkic unit can wait for its order to go into action in standby mode for up to 30 days. And it does not matter whether it is triggered by radio, LAN, timer or manually. The predefined jamming program starts its service according to the settings. Preventively placed or rapidly mounted in the operational area, complete infrastructures (GSM, CDMA, Tetra, VHF, UHF, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi) can be specifically jammed or affected in whole or in part depending on the version. Whether in town or in a rural environment. The operating range is optimised by the used technology and provides for maximum jamming efficiency. Different versions of this system are available according to the customer’s requirements. From the smallest compact unit in a portable, stable, weatherproof metal case via a version in a trailer or the luggage compartment of a car. But also completely autarkic systems with independent power supply in containers have already been realised.
- We just need some specifications for project planning:
- What shall be jammed? GSM, GPS, radio remote controls (remote detonation devices), etc.
- Where shall the system be used? Indoor or outdoor, town or countryside, camouflaged or uncamouflaged? (Air conditioning systems, waste containers, etc. are suitable means of camouflaging.) Stationary or mobile? On request, armoured systems are available, too. A potential bombardment would not eliminate such systems.
- How far shall jamming reach? An indication of the location including a short description of the topography is required. In lowland e.g. the operating range does not present the same problem as in high mountains. When jamming GSM networks, the effectiveness of jamming is directly dependent on the existing building density and the infrastructure. It would thus e.g. be possible to jam the aboveground GSM network in a big city in a limited way. Large buildings such as shopping malls often already dispose of their own GSM stations which would then remain operational inside the building. However, solutions can also be found for this.
- When shall jamming take place? Communication can be jammed continuously and completely or, if required, e.g. radio or TV broadcasts, etc. can be allowed.
- Bearing your own undisturbed communication in mind, we would shield the used means of communication from the jamming range, if possible. For this purpose, we then need information about the existing infrastructure. Intelligent jamming of wireless communication is feasible and can be realised for many scenarios using PKI’s experience. We are, however, also bound by the limits of physics and can realise everything that is technically feasible.
